Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk - a talented actress as well as a writer, director, and producer. Her father is from Britain and her mother is an "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's first memories of attending rehearsals for play and observing her mother at her job.
